Returns Policy

Golden Thread goes to great lengths to ensure that all orders are filled accurately and on time and are of the highest quality. Accordingly, we accepts returns and will refund payment if and when customers are disappointed by us merchandise for one of the following reasons:

    • the quality of the decorating (i.e., the printing or embroidery) is below a reasonable range of expectations (wrong artwork /position on the garment)
    • you've received the wrong garment or one with a manufacturing defect
    • any garment bought 'blank' (without custom printing/embroidery) as long as it is has not been worn or washed and is in brand new condition
    • the design of the final product is materially different from the final design submitted by the customer

If you return goods via Post or a Courier, please keep the appropriate proof of return. Otherwise, if the returned item goes missing in transit to us, we will deem you not to have returned the item.

It is your responsibility to ensure the goods are adequately packaged to ensure that they are not damaged during return transit. We will not issue a return or exchange unless the product/s are in a saleable condition upon return.

  • All returned products must be: In original condition; Undamaged;
  • Returned within 14 days of delivery.

In the event of a return by you, we will exchange or refund via the original method of payment only. However, you will pay the delivery costs of the return to GOLDEN THREAD and re-delivery to you. We will not refund initial delivery fees.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned:

      • Blank samples are non-refundable and charged at the single unit price, plus carriage and may be subject to an administration fee, which will be detailed on the invoice.
      • Printed or embroidered samples are charged at three times:(1) the unit price plus (2) set-up costs and (3) application costs and are non-refundable. However if your main order is the same as the sample order (i.e. no changes to the set up of the screens) then set-up costs from sampling will be credited to your main order, hence your main order set up will be free of charge.

Refunds Policy
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

Late or missing refunds 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

Please Note: Sizing 
All sizes are estimates and are not guaranteed. Please double check the size chart on our website or garment, bearing in mind that whilst sizes on size charts often relate to the body size of the wearer, rather than the garment, some size charts may differ. If you are concerned about sizing, we recommend ordering samples.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 

If you are shipping an item over €100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
