Our custom-made christening gowns are a wonderful way to up-cycle your wedding dress and keep in the family for further generations.
The christening gown can be made in various different styles, whether you want a traditionally long gown, ankle length, short sleeves or long sleeves, we will happily design the gown the way you imagine.

We specialise in bridal alterations as well as alter bridesmaids dresses, mother of the bride outfits and wedding guest dresses.
Our list is open and brides have been booking their slots already, please considering booking in if you think you will be needing our services in 2023.
There are a lot of things that we can help you with. We can shorten the communion dress, take in or let out, remove sleeves or add sleeves to the dress. We can add extra netting for creating a volume or remove lining to reduce the puffiness.
Two questions that gets asked quite frequently are:
Certainly. Most formal dresses have approximately 1″ seam allowance on each side of the dress. Therefore, the seams can be undone and sewn so that the dress can be let out and made a little bit bigger. However, dresses can only be let out a size or two. Anything larger than that is going to take 'more visible alterations' - adding a fabric panel.
Our seamstress could also see about letting out the zipper allowance for a little extra space or add a zipper extender to the back of the communion dress.
YES! We have got you covered on all sides, from removable straps and detachable straps to beaded cap sleeves and puff sleeves.
